After more than a year of planning, these two beautiful travel companions, Rosey, a Great Dane, and Milla, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, jetted from balmy Bermuda to Sydney, Australia for a much-awaited reunion with their family. These two magnificent pets required very large custom wooden kennels, careful airline routing and extreme attention to the details of health and document requirements. With complicated regulations for entry into Australia, including mandatory quarantine, as well as aircraft considerations in Bermuda (a small island with equipment that did not uniformly accommodate these sized crates), this move necessitated well-timed blood tests and vet visits, as well as changes to travel dates. But once in the air, Rosey and Milla did wonderfully well on their arduous journey! Snuggling in their new Sydney nest, we were thrilled to hear this update from
their pet parents!
“I cannot say more good things about (our pet relocation counselors) at WorldCare Pet. Our move was an especially challenging one considering Bermuda is a tiny island with limited resources for moving two very large dogs, combined with very strict Australian import regulations. However, it was all beautifully handled by my WorldCare Pet relocation specialists. Without them, and with so many curve balls thrown our way throughout the process, I probably would have given up on the move altogether. And despite the tremendous anxiety of trusting complete strangers to care for my furry children, after patiently answering my many questions and providing me with a lot of detailed information, (they) put my mind at ease and I felt ready to put their care in the hands of WorldCare Pet. The move was a huge success and both my Great Dane and Rhodesian Ridgeback appear completely unaffected. They didn’t appear at all stressed when we collected them from quarantine and are happily snoring next to me in our new home as I write. Thank you so much!” A.W.
