Reimbursement Benefits for Uniformed Service Members:
As a uniformed service member relocating with your pet, you may be eligible for reimbursement of pet transportation expenses.
Here's what you need to know:
Within the USA:
You are eligible for reimbursement of up to $550 for pet transportation expenses incurred within the United States. This includes costs associated with pet shipping and quarantine fees.
Outside the United States:
For PCS to or from a location outside the United States, you can receive reimbursement of up to $2000 for pet transportation expenses. Similar to domestic moves, this covers expenses directly related to pet transportation, such as shipping and quarantine fees.
Department of State Members:
Members of the Department of State may qualify for additional reimbursements beyond the standard allowances. Please inquire with our team for more information regarding specific eligibility criteria and reimbursement amounts.
